GATE 2015 EXAM NOTIFICATION : The journey to the elusive seat at IISc, IIT, NIT and the best job in the PSU has begun with the announcement of GATE 2015 notification!
If you've been waiting for the notification to start preparation for GATE, the bells have sounded right.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination for admission to M.Tech IISc, IIT and NIT and employment in public sector undertakings (PSU) is required.
Examinations will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from January 31, 2015 and February 14, 2015 The exact schedule of the different streams will be notified later in the GATE 2015 website.
New in GATE 2015 ?
Validity of GATE Scores now been increased from 2 years to 3 years.
All applications should be made online at the website of the Processing System GATE online application (GOAPS). No hard copy submissions are required.
Payments for GATE 2015 Examination Fees should be made through the SBI I-collects, Axis Bank I-Connect, e-challan form facilities or credit cards / net banking / debit cards.

GATE 2015 Eligibility :
The below following categories of education candidates are eligible to appear in GATE:
- The bachelor's degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy (Post - Diploma / Post-B.Sc / 4 years after 10 +2) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Candidates in the final year of the degree program of four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) (Post-Diploma / 4 years after 10 +2).
- The master's degree holders in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics Applications / Computer Science or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Candidates in the second or higher year degree program in four years or Integrated Master (Post-B.Sc.) In Engineering / Technology.
- Candidates in the fourth or more years Five years degree program Integrated Master or Dual Degree program in Engineering / Technology.
- Candidates in the final year of Five-year Integrated M.Sc. Five years integrated or B. S. - M. S. Programme.
- Candidates with qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional AMIE by IE (I), AMICE (I) by ICE (I) as equivalent to BE / B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

- Male (General / OBC) - 1500/-
- Female (All categories) - 750/-
- Other (General / OBC-NCL) - 1500/-
- SC / ST / PwD - 750/-
Most Important Dates of GATE 2015 Examination are :
- GATE Processing System Online (GOAPS) applications Site Opens: Registration, Filling Application, Application Submission September 1, 2014 (00:00 pm)
- Last date for online application submission site through 1st October 2014 (23:59)
- Last date for Request for Change in the choice of examination city GOAPS entry through is 21st November, 2014
- Availability of Admit card online application interface for printing as on 17th December, 2014
- GATE 2015 Online Examination Mid-morning: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Afternoon : 14: 00-17: 00 January 31, 1, 7, 8 and February 14, 2015
- Announcement of results on the website of online applications March 12, 2015 (10: 00Hrs)
